Therapist: Annalyse M., BS
I recently graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago with my bachelor's in human development and Learning with a minor track in Instructional Design and Training. I have always worked with children from the start. I started off as a summer camp counselor then quickly gained my Gateways credential to become a lead teacher in an early childhood classroom. I have always had a passion for impacting children’s lives. However, I knew I wanted to do more. I stumbled upon behavior therapy and soon fell in love with nurturing children’s development for each unique child. It is so rewarding to build relationships with children and their families and guide them through their successes. Because of this field, I have found the joy of advocating for children and their potential and making a difference in each family’s life. I decided to continue my education at National Louis University and become a school psychologist. My final career goal would be to become a school psychologist at a therapeutic day school to guide parents, teachers, and children through the educational process. On my free time, I love to garden, go shopping, spend time with my puppies, and work out at the gym.
